Caught up in Holiday-themed promotions, month-long jazz celebrations, and learning a little bit about HTML, I haven't posted a "Now Playing" post in quite a while. In fact, I posted the last one on October 30. For shame.
In the time since, dozens and dozens of new CDs have started playing on AccuJazz, so I'll do my best to list them in a two-part post. Part 1 lists CDs added in the tail end of 2009. The second part will have all the CDs added in the new year.
Most of these CDs are new releases, with a few exceptions. Some of them were purchased for specific channels: the Jobim composers channel, the Grammy channel, and Best of '09. Most of the releases are currently featured on the main channel, and you'll also find a list of the other channels on which you're most likely to hear them. As always, I've adorned my personal faves with the coveted double-asterisk (**).
